Determining the correct volume of your urn

Overview of formats for choosing an urn

The content of the urn is usually the starting point when choosing a tangible remembrance of a dear deceased person. We would like to apologize in advance for all the (technical) details, which - especially during a difficult period - can be very confronting. However, we think it is very important to inform you as well as possible around making the choice of the right urn size.

An urn for all or part of the ashes?

You can choose to place the entire amount of ashes of the dearly departed in a single urn or divide the ashes among several urns. This way, for example, different family members can keep some of the ashes.

The contents (volume) of our urns are listed with each urn. If you are not going to keep the urn at home, but want to place it in an urn grave or urn wall / columbarium, you should also take into account the dimensions of the urn. These are also listed with each urn from our webshop.

We also recommend that you always keep some of the ashes separately (e.g., in the ash container you received from the crematorium), should the urn break or be lost.
