People who choose to be cremated can be buried in a biodegradable urn in an urn landscape, urn forest or urn field. An eco-urne will break down naturally in the natural cemetery within a few months, with the ashes being absorbed into nature. More and more people are choosing funerals with a smaller ecological footprint, which is why the choice of eco-friendly urns has been on the rise for several years.

100% biodegradable

Biodegradable urns can be used to bury the ashes of your beloved deceased as well as to dissolve the urn in water (such as when scattered at sea or in a river). Biodegradable urns are made from organic materials so that the ashes of the deceased loved one can be entrusted to nature in an environmentally friendly way.

A biodegradable urn

Artemis has a number of biodegradable urns in its collection that you can order online. Our eco urns are handmade from natural clay, into which a small amount of recycled paper (in the form of paper pulp) is added.

Unlike glazed urns, these urns are fired at a very low temperature which makes them easily degrade in nature. We can guarantee that all bio urns are made from raw materials that have a mineral or vegetable origin.

Notice. A biodegradable urn is not frost-resistant and thus not suitable for outdoor placement.
